Spring & Summer 2011 Continued

We returned from our travels and started our count down for Miss Madison Grace Tyler.  On June 9th at 4:33 pm she arrived weighing in at 7 lbs. 6 oz. and 19.5 in. long.  Madison got her name from a special man that her Dad knew in Iraq.  Maddie as he was called was killed in Iraq in 2004, Noah said if he ever was blessed with another child no matter boy or girl the name would be Madison, she is very speical!!     

Spring & Summer 2011

It's been a while since my last post so I'll try and give a quick summary of what has been happening around here!!  In April I went on a cruise with my Aunt, cousins, Mom and her friend to Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama.  On our very first morning we were sitting on our balcony drinking our morning coffee, in our Carnival robes, when Kathi and I saw something in a distance.  We decided that this had to be some kind of buoy and thought nothing else about it!  Then I said to the girl's "we are turning", just as I said this the Captain came on the speaker and said we were turning back to answer a distress call....WHAT?  That thing we saw just happen to be a man in a raft.  He turned that big boat around an rescued a man from his fishing raft.  He said he had gotten lost fishing, not sure we all believed that story!! After all of that excitement we continued on our journey enjoying ourselves!!! 

2011 Snow Storm

In case you've been out of the country or under a rock, the weather had been a big news maker this week!!!  Jan. 9 & 10, 2011 we received about 8 1/2 of snow!!  We were like little kids and did not want to go to bed because we were afraid that we would miss something.  Scott prayed that the power would stay on so he wouldn't miss the National Championship game.  We've not had any power outages and we've watched alot of movies, got all the laundry caught up!!!  As of today Wednesday Jan.12, 2011 still have not gone to work or school!!  Brett is loving not going to school, but I'm not making any money sitting in this house! 

It was  really rough walking up the hill to take this picture!  This snow was like powder and Brett  did not have much luck with snow sleding.

I am so ready for spring!!!!!!

Adam & Ashley brought the girls over to see Nanny & Papaw on July 3rd.  We all had a really nice lunch and visit!

Summer Fun

We've had a busy summer!  In June we went on vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC., we really liked it there and hope to go back.  July 4th we had our families up for food, fun and a swim.  I think 31 people made there way through my kitchen for BBQ, hotdogs and burgers! 

Introducing Johanna Delaney Tyler

The new addition to the family Wednesday, March 10, 2010 @ 12:44 weighing in at 9 lbs 11 oz and 22 in. long!!!  She is a whooper of a little girl,  so round and plump makes you really want to squeeze her cheeks!!

Big sister Abilene was very happy with her little sister!!!
